What motivates you to come to work everyday?
To be able to give hope and comfort to clients and care partners as they navigate through their difficult journey.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Bringing a smile to and seeing the softening in people with a heart-centered connection gives me the greatest honor in such a unique space.
What is your favorite holiday?
Nowadays, with family dispersed and kids grown my favorite holiday is whenever we can carve out time to get together and play.
Tacos or pizza?
Equally preferred comfort food. I'd lean towards pizza since we most conistently have Friday pizza movie nights.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
Cat. I've come to adore and admire the fierce independence and quirkiness of our cats and often what it would be like to rule the house.
Jaime has been in private practice since 2000 cultivating client relationships built on compassion, respect, and trust. His ten years of experience teaching at a massage school established his two main tenets for embracing the profession---education and service.
After a period of developing a nonprofit to give injured veterans and domestic violence survivors much needed access to massage therapy, he reuinted with dear friend Cal who gave him the opportunity and honor of diving into palliative care work in the inaugural MPATH program and hasn't looked back.
Jaime sees working with both children and adults (especially the elderly) going through serious medical conditions as a true gift.
